DISCLAIMER
The attention of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN) has been drawn to representations and claims allegedly being made by one Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travel and Tours Ltd, to the effect that he will be inducted as a member of the Institute at its Annual Induction Ceremony scheduled to hold on Monday, 27th July 2026 at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
The Institute wishes to state in the clearest possible terms that at no time did it offer, approve, communicate, or authorize any such induction. Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri is not known to ITPN, nor is he a member of the Institute.
The Institute further wishes to categorically distance itself from Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri and TMT Travel and Tours Ltd in relation to these claims and any representations, advertisements, invitations, promotional materials, or public statements suggesting an association with the Institute’s induction process or conferring membership status on him.
Members of the public, industry stakeholders, partners, and prospective members are hereby advised that the Institute shall not be held responsible for any actions, transactions, commitments, or engagements entered into on the strength of such claims or representations.
The Institute remains committed to maintaining the integrity, professionalism, and credibility of its membership processes and reserves the right to take any appropriate action necessary to protect the reputation of the profession and the Institute.
