Centres interested in becoming approved to deliver the Institute of Tourism Professional’s qualifications can view our  Centre Approval Guidelines for Centres to ensure that they meet the approval criteria . The Institute offers Centre Approval to recognized Colleges, Universities, Training Providers and Employers.

The Institute has the authority to approve a Centre to deliver and assess whole or part awards in relation to the qualifications offered and depending upon the expertise of the centre.

Centre Approval is granted to organisations that meet the application criteria in full, subject to a successful Centre Approval visit from an approved Centre Approval Manager (CAM). Approval is initially granted for a period of one year. Re-approval will then be granted for a further three years subject to a satisfactory annual visit, all monitoring requirements being met and payment of annual fees.
